To sign on to iwantim.com, select your protocol that you want to sign onto from tabbed menu and enter your screen name and password in the login box and just click the 'sign on' button!

iwantim allows you to sign into multiple accounts at the same time. After signing into one account, click on 'Sign into more accounts' and then enter your other account's information in the login box and click 'sign on' again. Your buddies from all accounts will show up in the buddy list on the right side of the page. All of the accounts are displayed in the 'Accounts' menu on the left side of the page.

If you would like to sign out of only one account, just click your screen name and select 'Sign off' link. To sign off of all your accounts, click the 'Sign off' link, located above the accounts list on the left side of the page.

You actually don't have to register at all to use iwantim.But if you register to iwantim you can access your chatlogs, preferences from any computer or mobile.To register you can click on register link on the mainpage.

In order to move a buddy from one contact group to another, just click and drag the name of the buddy to the new contact group.

Yes! If you want to set your buddy's name to something else, just hover over a buddy's screen name and select 'rename' or you can right click to your buddy's screen name and select 'rename'

If you want to set your buddy's privacy, just hover over a buddy's screen name and select 'block' or you can right click to your buddy's screen name and select 'block'

If you would like to change only one account, just click your screen name and select 'Set Account' link.From Set Account Dialog you can change your account's status t. To change all your accounts status, click the ''Status' , located above the accounts list on the left side of the page.

It is possible that you are entering your full email address, instead of just the login name. Try logging in without the client's domain, i.e. leave the @yahoo.com or @gmail.com part out!x

In order to search online/offline buddies, write in the name of the buddy that you would like to search for in the text bar that says 'Search Buddies' below the status bar in your contacts list. You can search for your online as well as offline buddies.

We do not store your passwords unless you register an account for automatic sign on for multiple accounts. We encrypt your passwords when you enter them into iwantim and without your main password nobody cant decrypt your passwords. The passwords are flushed once you sign-off from iwantim.
